Airin out some stinky ass bobo sandals in the food storage room. Chinatown, New York City.

One of the best eats in Brooklyn thus far, Cubana Cafe is home away from home, best cuban food in the borough.
Sangria pitcher on the side, extra fruit.

Currently one of the most tagged up Subway entrances is ironically the station entrance under the Court House Bankruptcy building.
The lighting is too ill in person.

Fuck the MTA.
Now with my train all fucked, ending in Manhattan not heading to brooklyn, I have to make an annoying transfer. Alllll the way down at South Ferry. I hate this part of town, but it sometimes looks the most ‘New York’.
I like to tell visitors to walk the small pathways and brick streets at night. It is desolate. It looks like New York City from 20 years ago. Sometimes even further back.
Suddenly you come across mirror glassed towers, full of empty offices and silence.
Only thing the visuals can remind you of is the ending of Fight Club.

Smell of fish guts. It totally permeates this corner.
I honestly cant get enough of the smells this city has to offer.
I think what makes smaller cities boring is the lack of stink.

Lex taking me to my NEW favorite eats spot.
Vanessas Dumpling House in Chinatown.
Seriously 5 pork dumplings for a buck. And oh the wonderful sesame bread.
I could eat here every night. Only thing is I wish it wasn’t called Vanessas. Instead, maybe called something more traditional like Xi Wang’s, that way I feel cooler.. I feel like the old New York was a harbor for places like this.
Hop Kee across from the now closed legendary chinatown arcade, is still the dopest Dim Sum joint.
Need to go back for Dim Sum and make a full report for yall.
Super intricate tunnels I now view every morning at Atlantic Terminal in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. The 4, 5, 2, and 3 come through this intersection.
I sometimes want to walk these tunnels at this location. The beautiful mess of these used/unused tracks tangling together would give me insane aesthetic pleasure. But considering the train traffic, it might be the last walk I ever take.

I love how the darkness can swallow the light. This is why I like photography and film. My favorite films are among those that use noir/neo-noire lighting techniques. There is a certain rawness aesthetic that I cannot shake.
I often think about what it would be like if the world ended and I have to scavenge for food/items. I like walking at night when there is no one around to fulfill this fantasy.
